Quality Technician
Performs product measurement and data analysis and provides output to the QA Customer Service and Production Quality teams Performs periodic product audits Conduct periodic fixture calibrations Assist with product quality improvement, containment, and New Model quality improvement Support level up activities Take routine or required customer actions to meet customer's needs.
Respond promptly and accurately to customer's complaints, inquiries and requests for information and coordinates appropriate follow up.
Must proficiently perform all QA auditor functions and task at time of selection or within the first six months of employment at position.
Conduct product qualifications using Faro arm CMM and Optigo Scan to measure stamping and welded parts.
Work to solve problems and overcome obstacles, and follow up to ensure closure of dimensional issues.
Facilitate successful continuous improvement activities.
Assist in utilizing collected data for Statistical Process Control and trend detection.
Collect, enter and maintain clear and organized records of all inspection and test results.
Work with QA T/L and production T/L to ensure containment of all non-conforming material Maintain daily housekeeping of work area to ensure a clean work environment and proper 5-S.
Ensure all daily paperwork is correct and all rejected parts are accounted.
